SWINGING AFFAIR
Review

THE STAGE version of the 1963 film Summer Holiday starring Cliff Richard, is being presented by Tread the Boards Youth Music Theatre at the Gardyne Theatre this week, writes a theatre critic.

The production, directed by Brian and Agnes Boardman, shines from start to finish.

An ingenious set, colourful costumes, with the entire cast changing through various national dress as the gang travel across Europe, and a superb on-stage band add greatly to the overall presentation.

The show, packed with glorious Cliff and the Shadows hits, is delivered with infectious enthusiasm.

Summer Holiday runs nightly at 7.30pm until Saturday with a matinee also on Saturday at 2.30pm. Tickets are available from the Central Booking Office or at the door.
