DAZZLING MUSICAL DISPLAY
Review

Thomson-Leng Musical Society, on the opening night of Kaleidoscope 2002, presented a dazzling display of song and dance.

From a colourful, lively opening sequence of songs from around the world to the spectacular finale of Broadway hits, this production is packed with music for all tastes.

The company moves smoothly from one routine to another, taking in visits to Scotland, the 40s' era, the world of rock and pop, and movie themes. The impressive performances from soloists and the full company are enhanced by the imaginative choreography of the dance routines.

A show of this kind relies heavily on instrumental backing and musical director Euan Crabb has brought together a band of the highest quality.

This entertaining show, which runs all week, is directed by Alan Hunter, assisted by Anne Brandie and choreography by Liz Burns Smith and Andy Martin.

Tickets are available at the City Square Box Office or at the Whitehall Theatre each evening.
